SILENT LIFE => NIRVANA

    Sometimes do you get the feeling, no matter how much you try, you just cannot make some people feel comfortable with you !
    No matter how much u try, no matter how u express myself, no matter how much stuff u buy for her, no matter what sacrifices u make, no matter how you suffer to make her feel comfortable, you are not good enough for her. She just puts herself in a cocoon. A cocoon made of past emotions, past disgust, past memories.
    The Indian marriage system further makes an already complicated relationship even more complicated. Divorce is still a taboo subject and a last resort in India.
    The frustration builds to such an extent, you just explode in your mind. As mind suffers, so does your body. Here comes the Indian philosophy of Nirvana.

    Nirvana is a mental state where your mind is in state of peace. Free from craving, materialism, emotions. However it is easier said than done. The Mind is a very powerful force, which resists change. It refuses to accept the reality and builds a imaginary world, where you are comfortable.
    An individual in the state of nirvana is said to be 'enlightened'. The individual has realised the ultimate reality and has shed all attachments in the world.

    Coming back to our subject, the simple way to lead a uncomplicated familial life in India is to look beyond the troubles. Show less emotion, less anger, less passion, less happiness, less attachment, less ego. The more we practice these in our day-to-day life, the more we move towards Nirvana without actually becoming a sanyasin. Silent life is thus a path to Nirvana.

    This article has actually re-inspired me to this ideal in face of on-going personal issues.
